 About the team Chris Somner: "I started boat building in 1998, working for Bob Hoare Ltd, building Contenders and Poole AB’s whilst undertaking a City and guilds in Yacht and Boat building which I completed in 2003. I then left Bob Hoare Ltd and joined Latham’s Boatyard repairing wooden yachts and involved in running the office until April 2006 when I set up my own business building and repairing dinghies and small yachts.
