international contender dinghy skiff at YDSC, sailing on the run at YDSC
At Yorkshire dales sailing club. after windward mark , set myself up for the run. hook trapeze wires forward to give sail better shape. board up, outhaul on with enough kicker to keep shape. more to stop it rolling in swell steering with body weight no rudder. lean rig to starboard to turn to port and visa versa.. Always think of rudder as a brake. I look far back but I think thats the way the 170deg lens distorts image. Though I normally just go forward enough to lift transon from water.
